Hi Reader,

Here's a little laugh for your Thursday morning:

Now, don't get me wrong- I'm a BIG fan of organic, minimal fruit/low sugar vegetable juices especially if you can't get the volume of vegetables that your body could benefit from(ex: if you have digestive issues). Which the estimated need for plant foods to combat inflammation & chronic disease is about 9-13 servings a day- nothing I expect most people to be able to achieve!

And sure, green juice can be helpful in getting you some detoxifying nutrients from vegetables, but comprehensive detoxification involves A LOT more than that - much to the Kardashians' dismay...

Here are just a few more general things we need to consider to amplify your body's ability to detox efficiently:

  • Fasting (personalized & 12-13 hrs at night vs excessively)
  • Rainbow foods (fiber, nutrients)
  • Exercise/sweat
  • Sleep
  • Hydration
  • Gut health
  • Reduce stressors
  • Nutrient levels
  • Support liver (minding genetics)

... or my little acronym for you to remember this is FRESH GRNS :)
